Watching the documentary ‘Inner worlds, outer worlds’ on Amazon, fuelling my brain while relaxing at the same time, I found my mind racing and connecting, making so many links to the symbiosis of maths and business. I felt compelled to get something down to join the dots. I made notes, did some more research and compiled together these thoughts, I hope you find it useful. 

In the realm of mathematics, fractals are intriguing for their complex patterns and inherent self-similarity. Benoît Mandelbrot, the pioneer of fractal geometry, introduced a perspective that revolutionised how we perceive shapes and patterns in nature. Mandelbrot’s insights revealed that the chaotic and complex patterns of a fractal are underpinned by recurring simplicity and connectivity.
